Susan Miller is a Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience. Her passion is Health Education and Behavior Change. She has instructed yoga for 15 years. Susan encourages yoga for all – regardless of age or background. Often people are seeking a gentler approach to recovery after injury or treatment (cardiac, orthopedic, oncology, psychological, or behavioral). Susan also develops yoga sequences for perinatal students. The foundation of yoga is the breath, so anyone can practice. She offers Restorative, Yin, Pranayama (breathwork), Vinyasa, Power, Flow, and Meditation instruction.
Susan explores use of breath to sustain mindfulness, postures, and meditation. Regardless of student level, yoga challenges both mind and body to ultimately bring calm and focus. She found yoga transform her life in 2005. Susan passionately teaches others to express themselves with grace and wisdom through asana. Yoga practice changes understanding of the world and removes obstacles in our path – if one makes time for commitment. Learning to stay present through awareness is a gift she would love to share.
